Our Commitments

Our mission is to create solutions in an evolving legal market. Our core values to lead, create and evolve underpin this and enable us to provide the highest standards of service for all our stakeholders.

We are proud to have a diverse team driven to ensure every matter is dealt with professionally, efficiently and respectfully. We are also committed to our social responsibility, supporting charities and local groups from in and around the community.

Our Experience

Commercial Practice Group Leader Steven Porter has over 35 years experience and is past president of IAPL (International Association of Practising Lawyers). Steven specialises in Commercial Property from investments portfolios to development, bridging finance and Housing Association Law.

Residential Property Practice Group Leader Yashmin Mistry is a recognised expert in residential leasehold and landlord matters. She contributes regularly to the legal property press and is a member of FPRA, ALEP, ARMA and ARHM.

Derek Payne joins the residential property practice group as Head of the Conveyancing team, with the majority of his work in the prime London property markets.

Two of our founding Partners Graham Jaffe and Stephen Crossick are now consultants of the practice.

Our History

JPC Law is the product of a merger between Porter Crossick and the Private Client, Litigation and Trust and Probate departments of Roiter Zucker. In 2009, we increased our presence when we were joined by the practice of Sherman Phillips. This increased the scope of our practice to expand in the areas of Insolvency and International Law.

Operating from a historic building which housed omnibuses in 1892, JPC Law offer a full list of client services in a stunning location. Our testimonials demonstrate long standing relationships with some of the most successful companies in the UK and we employ experts with a depth of legal knowledge and ability that enables our clients to proceed with confidence.

'It is not often that I am able to comment with pleasure when dealing with solicitors in the field of work but I always feel with JPC Law that they are genuinely interested and are friendly whilst still being able to offer the client the service that is necessary in this complicated area of law.'

In 2018, we expanded our residential and commercial real estate services through the successful acquisition of central London practice Terence St J Millett enabling us to also provide full legal services from our South Kensington office.
