Julie Edmonds joins JPC Law as Senior Associate specialising in Employment matters
We are pleased to announce Julie Edmonds has joined our firm as Senior Associate specialising in Employment matters.

Julie has extensive experience and advises both businesses and individuals in all areas of employment law, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters including Employment Tribunal claims, strategic exits for senior executives, settlement agreements, contracts of employment and staff handbooks, disciplinary and grievance procedures, the enforcement of post termination restrictions, discrimination, TUPE, restructuring and redundancy.

Commercial Practice Group leader Steven Porter says ‘We are delighted to be joined in our Commercial Practice Group by Julie Edmonds. Julie brings with her a wealth of experience and specialism in employment matters and we are excited to have her join our team.’

Julie has been extremely busy since joining us including attending an event run by the Hexagon Legal Network at LexisNexis to hear more about recent developments in the legal sector and to meet like minded professionals.  The event was attended by lawyers and their guests and included a presentation from LexisNexis which gave the attendees a preview of the latest Bellwether Report “The Race to Evolve” that has now been published. Bellwether Reports are based on interviews with lawyers and their clients, revealing how independent lawyers, small to medium size firms and sole practitioners are handling the trends and demands that face the legal sector today. Julie comments 'This report follows May’s Bellwether report, “The Art of Success” and considers the forces that govern and are transforming the traditional client/lawyer relationship.  The research explored how firms can meet new expectations by challenging traditional working practices and considering how as a sector, we can take a smarter and more efficient approach to providing a great service to our clients.  “The Race to Evolve” considers the pressures facing law firms today and questions whether they will be able to sufficiently adapt to keep up with increasingly well informed clients in a technologically savvy marketplace.'

She will also be attending The Telegraph Festival of Business 2017 on 7th November.
