Steven Ross

Career

Steven Ross was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 having studied at the University of Liverpool. He is a highly experienced litigator with a broad experience of commercial litigation matters. Steven has worked in both West End and regional firms before joining JPC in 2015 as a Partner.

Summary of Work

Steven regularly represents clients in the High Court, County Court and First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). He has a particular specialism in landlord and tenant disputes (both commercial and residential), including rent and service charge arrears litigation, breach of covenant, possession claims and forfeiture disputes.

His substantial experience of advising both landlords and tenants has enabled him to lead some high profile cases. Steven’s areas of expertise also encompass business lease renewals, dilapidation claims and tenant insolvency in addition to broader litigation such as contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, contentious probate and insolvency.

Steven is a member of the Property Litigation Association. He is also a regular contributor to both the national and property press.
