Bina Mistry

Career

Bina studied at Birmingham City University where she qualified with a 2.1. She has completed her Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University and has most recently worked as a Litigation assistant as part of a Personal Injury team at Shakespeares Martineau.

Summary of Work

Bina gained valuable experience at a number of firms including Lawson West solicitors, Brady Solicitors and Oliver D’sa Solicitors. She gained experience within their conveyancing departments, amending commercial leases for the commercial team, opening new files, - both paper and electronic, requesting redemption statements regularly and drafting of letters and emails of advice to clients.

Skills and approach

Bina is a conscientious paralegal whose skills include drafting witness statements, submitting cases on portal, speaking to clients regularly regarding new enquiries and dealing with web and telephone enquiries along with archiving files.

Interests and Hobbies

During the right to read programme Bina visited Whitehall Primary School every week for 3 months, where she assisted young children who were having difficulty with their reading. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and in particular is a keen foodie, enjoying discovering new places to dine. She hopes to go travelling in the future with Australia being her first planned stop.
