Brinda is a solicitor and Partner and heads the firm’s Commercial Property Team. Brinda deals with a broad range of property work for mainly HNW individuals and onshore and offshore SMEs with a particular focus on the acquisition, development and disposal of high value commercial and residential property.

Brinda also has extensive experience with secured lending including bridging finance.

Highlights have included:

Negotiating share purchase agreement alongside JV agreement with third party funder and advising on lease re-structure of mixed-use property portfolio in excess of £20 million.
Purchase of £80 million business involving mixed use premises
Acting for developer on purchase and sale of £5 million property

Brinda can also assist with enfranchisement matters.

Additionally, with over 15 years’ experience in the niche area of business immigration, Brinda can also advise corporate and individual clients on all aspects of the UK immigration points-based system and other UK visas, including family, sole representative, EEA, naturalisation, etc.

Examples of some of the cases Brinda has helped with are:

Advising one of UK’s largest aluminium casting manufacturers on their immigration needs from senior executive level to specialised skilled staff required from abroad, involving Tier 1 (Investor) and Tier 2 visas as well as compliance audits on HR systems.
Successful appeal for naturalisation application rejected due to excessive absences
Assisting with Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) applications
Overturning refusal for spousal visa application on basis of financial evidence
Conducting appeal at First Tier Tribunal to prevent removal of Tier 4 (Student)

Brinda has also successfully advised and assisted second citizenship applications such as Malta, Cyprus, Dominican Republic.

Brinda offers her clients a practical, proactive approach to ensure the best outcome and is passionate about giving back to the local community, currently in the role of Vice-Chair of Governors at a local primary school.
