JPC’s wills department are proud to support the outstanding work of St John’s Hospice (http://www.stjohnshospice.org.uk/) by participating in the nationwide campaign “Make a Will Week” between 17th-24thMarch 2014.
St John’s Hospice is an independent hospice located in St John’s Wood, providing palliative care for over 2000 terminally-ill patients and their families every year. This includes both in-patient care and outpatient programmes such as the Clinical Day Unit, Hospice@Home and visits from the Community Team.
The services provided by St John’s Hospice are completely free, so those with a terminal illness are able to get the help they need without the worry of how they will pay for it. The Hospice are only able to provide these excellent and much needed services with the aid of charitable donations, funding and through schemes such as “Make a Will Week”.
During Make a Will Week, JPC will waive their usual will writing fees on the understanding that in lieu of a payment to us, our clients will make a donation to St John’s Hospice. Suggested donations are £100 for a simple will and £150 for a pair of “mirror” wills. Mirror wills for a couple are identical wills for each spouse or civil partner which mirror the provisions of the other.
