Next month we will be flying the flag for the firm at the 30th LAWASIA conference in Tokyo having been invited to talk about the impact that Brexit is likely to have on business relations between Asia and the UK.
Given it is the organisation’s 30th anniversary, 2,000 attendees as well as dignitaries are expected to attend the conference including the Prince and Princess of Japan. We have also been asked to be a Judge at LAWASIA’s international moot competition where we will be adjudicating teams from around the world on their legal skills.
Whilst in Japan, we will be attending the Annual General Meeting of the League of Lawyers, the firm’s international association of which we are both the treasurer and a board member, meeting with prospective members to grow its network and, in turn, that of JPC Law. With such a packed schedule we wish him well and hope he finds time for a sake … or two!
