JPC Law attend the IAPL AGM in Lucerne

Steven Porter and Niten Chauhan are today attending the IAPL (International Alliance of Practising Lawyers) AGM in Lucerne, Switzerland.

The IAPL is an international network of lawyers with the legal expertise needed to answer the complex and rapidly changing legal requirements of clients with business dealings in different jurisdictions and companies with cross-border issues.

With the IAPL’s unique structure of ‘one firm, one jurisdiction’, JPC Law have the privilege of being the UK member of the Association and enjoy being part of a diverse international network available to its clients wherever their needs may arise globally.

The association prides itself on the fact that every member shall offer clients the same standards of professional and personal service that they would expect in their own country. In turn, as our clients’ needs grow we have the ability to reach out to IAPL members worldwide and particularly in key business centres to help with their particular matters.

The organisation is well established in the Far East including Hong Kong and China as well as Central and Eastern Europe, areas that have become a major focus for business expansion and investment. Therefore, wherever your business takes you, an IAPL member will always be within easy reach.

This years AGM is focused on Technology in Business and members shall be attending a seminar on ‘Blockchain and Cryptography’ which resulted in the phenomenal rise of crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin.

The seminar shall be attended by many key-note speakers regarded as specialists in this area as well as the Mayor of the Canton of Zug, which is considered to be Switzerland’s Silicon Valley. We are proud that Niten will be delivering a presentation on the legal issues that the advancements in Blockchain Technology will present for businesses in the future. In addition Steven shall be addressing how these digital developments have the potential to change the landscape of the property market both at home and overseas.

We wish them both every success at this year’s AGM and the seminar. For further information and advice on any of the areas outlined above or the IAPL, please contact us.
