There is a general belief that most of us, if we have a legal problem, want it resolved, but we want to stay out of Court. Additionally, surely we all want to make our own agreements with the right level of support.

Mediation can be a very positive experience because throughout, one has the neutral support of the mediator, who is trained, sensitive to everyone’s possibly conflicting needs and requirements, and mos timportant of all, impartial. In other words, we are seeking to explore options to meet your interests. The process moves forward as fast or as slowly as everyone wishes. Mediation is confidential.
Often, in 3 to 6 sessions, each lasting no more than 1.5 hours, matters can be resolved. If mediation takes place over a period of a few months at worst, or an even shorter period, then this will be a much lesser time and a less expensive process than the conventional route through the Courts.
As a special promotion with effect from 1 July 2013 until 31 December 2013, we are offering a reduced promotional rate of £150 per hour plus VAT per person for family mediation.
We look forward to receiving your enquiry. It is usual for us to have a very brief telephone discussion with you and then later with your partner, before arranging preliminary meetings with each of you for no more than one half hour in the first instance to ascertain that the mediation process is suitable for you.
At that preliminary meeting, it will be necessary for us to ascertain what is important to you and to find out when you are free to take the process forward with the first session involving both you and your partner, and the mediator. Before that, a Mediation Agreement and an information form will have been completed. The purpose of that first meeting will be to identify the issues which you and your partner wish to raise for discussion.
