JPC LAW STRENGTHENS AWARD WINNING LEASEHOLD ENFRANCHISEMENT TEAM

We are delighted to announce that Yashmin Mistry has joined the firm from Brethertons LLP as a Partner to work alongside Graham Jaffe and Katie Cohen.

Yashmin is well known and widely respected as a leading property practitioner specialising in lease extensions, collective enfranchisement claims, Right to Manage issues, management applications under the 1987 Act, service charge disputes, enforcement of lease covenants and forfeiture claims.

Yashmin brings a wealth of experience to JPC Law and will give added depth to the Enfranchisement Team. She is the Honorary Legal Consultant for the Federation of Private Residents’ Association (FPRA) and writes regularly for News on the Block, FPRA, and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Reflecting her reputation in the market, in May 2011, Yashmin, for the second year running won “Young Professional of the Year” and “Regional Solicitor of the Year” at the News on the Block Enfranchisement and Right to Manage Awards. In September 2011, Yashmin was shortlisted for “Woman of the Year” at the Asian Achievers Awards 2011. In May 2010, Yashmin also won “Enfranchisement Solicitor of the Year” and in 2009 won “Regional Solicitor of the Year”.
