Court fees are on the increase again.
Only 5 months ago Court fees for monetary claims were significantly increased. However, the fees for issuing possession claims were untouched
Following consultation, the government now proposes to increase the fees for issuing a possession claim in the County Court by £75, from £280 to £355.
The changes have not yet taken effect and further guidance will be published in due course but this will no doubt come as a blow to landlords.
