Law Commission Releases Paper Proposing Significant Changes for Leaseholders

The Law Commission has today released a Consultation Paper containing significant proposals for change, and inviting the public to respond with their views. The release can be read here:

The RTM consultation will be open until 30 April 2019.

This is part of the Law Commission’s project to reform leasehold law in England and Wales. As part of this work, the Law Commission has published two other consultation papers:

Reinvigorating commonhold: the alternative to leasehold ownership; consultation open until 10 March 2019.
