We are participating in the St John’s Hospice Make a Will Week which commences on Monday March 11 until Friday March 15.
St John’s Hospice, located within the charitable Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in St John’s Wood, provides palliative care for over 2,000 terminally-ill patients and their families every year for free. Legacies make up almost 30% of their annual voluntary income.
The hospice is looking to increase donations from legacies by giving our supporters a chance to get a will made or update their will in the hope that they will leave a gift for the Hospice.
We are waiving our fee for writing wills during this period on the understanding that in lieu of a payment to us of our normal fee clients will donate £100 for a simple will and £150 for a pair of simple mirror wills to the Hospice.
Whilst we will be encouraging a gift for the Hospice in the will clients will be free to choose whether to leave a gift or not in their will to the Hospice.
