In 2013 the procedural rules in England changed as a result of the abolition of the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT) and its replacement by the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). The First Tier Tribunal has a more comprehensive set of procedures and the new rules which came into force on 1st July 2013, are a lot more detailed.
Our award winning legal expert Yashmin Mistry is hosting a Bootcamp on 12th September from 13.15 looking at how rules are applied across different applications the Tribunal has jurisdiction to deal with, the procedure to be followed, the Tribunal’s case management powers and costs and appeals. She will also look at the procedure in the Upper Tribunal and ensure those in attendance leave the camp fully informed.
