Water Safety in Flats - Seminar on 19 April 2012

Water damage represents one of the more frequent claims made under blocks of flats building policies and can be a persistent source of aggravation for residents, managers and landlords alike. In addition, where there are communal water storage facilities, legal obligations exist to ensure compliance with health and safety. This can include swimming pools, jacuzzi’s, communal showers, air conditioning, cooling towers, ventilation plant, condensers, fountains or other water features. Knowing what water risks exist in your buildings and how to manage them effectively is an essential part of day-to-day block management.

This half day briefing will provide you with essential guidance regarding your responsibilities and liabilities as property managers and landlords of residential blocks.

Yashmin Mistry from JPC Law’s Enfranchisement Department will be guest speaking at this event hosted by News on the Block at Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London SW1X 7DR
